practice. Since our founding, in December 2005, we've been providing physicians
and medical facilities in Missouri the protection and management strength that their
investment of money, time, and reputation deserve. Since 2008, Illinois doctors have received the same protection.

Our sole focus is professional liability insurance, not non-medical risks like property
damage or premises liability. Our number of policyholders has increased every year
because we offer advantages that mean value, like a true consent to settle clause
and policy limits that exclude claim expenses.
Our policyholders are also our owners.
Galen started as a physician-owned company. From time-to-time we are able to offer
our policyholders the opportunity to become owners, subject to the rules established
